BTLB Supports the Institut Français on Projet Lumière(s)
Banque Transatlantique London Branch is proud to support the Projet Lumière(s), a major development project of the Institut français in London led by the Friends of the French Institute trust.
Projet Lumière(s) is a three-phase project. It first aims at refurbishing the Victorian style Salons à la française, a space for culture and ideas. The project is also focused on building a brand new 34-seat boutique cinema, Ciné Lumière II, which will allow the Institut to screen even more eclectic and independent films. Eventually, this fundraising project will help the Institut to enlarge its activities catalogue, with a strong emphasis on children and education.
We are convinced that this project carries out strong values shared by Banque Transatlantique, such as the will to bring new technologies into our daily lives and a vision of culture as a powerful means to raise awareness on contemporary issues. Moreover, being historically inter connecting overseas’ customers, Banque Transatlantique shares the Institut français’ ethos to gather people beyond borders and particularly to build ties between France and the United Kingdom.
